We are very happy to announce the two keynote speakers for EF 2018:
Prof. Steffen Andersen, PhD, (Copenhagen Business School) focuses his research on household finance, behavioral economics, and experimental economics. He has published extraordinarily well on topics such as risk and time preference elicitation, the role of stake sizes in ultimatum games, and fire sales on real estate markets.
Prof. Camelia Kuhnen, PhD, (University of North Carolina) is an expert on neuroeconomics, behavioral finance, and corporate finance. She has published in the top journals of neuroscience, finance, and management on topics such as the neural basis for financial decision making, learning from financial information, and executive compensation.
Tuesday evening, June 19, we plan to have an informal get-together in Heidelberg’s Old Town for those who have already arrived.
Wednesday, June 20
- Conference day 1 (starts aprox. 9am)
- Dinner at Schlosshotel Molkenkur
Thursday, June 21
- Conference day 2
- Dinner in Heidelberg’s Old Town
Friday, June 22
- Conference day 3 (ends after lunch)
The conference venue is Schlosshotel Molkenkur, which is located on the hill above Heidelberg’s prestigious castle. While the location is quiet and a little secluded, it is nevertheless well connected to the old town, the castle, and the summit of the hill Königstuhl by the Funicular Railway. We believe the conference venue to offer an inspiring atmosphere for the exchange of ideas and are very much looking forward to welcoming you there.
